17th century fort and moat considered a wonder of modern warfare at the time and still here today standing proudly from where it protected Lagos from the Spanish and Pirates

Stop At: Governor's Castle (Castelo dos Governadores)

Built in the 10th century this Moorish castle and walls are home to many stories and even occasionally host a 3d light show on them of an evening
