Pass By: Castellammare del Golfo

Meet your Guide Driver at your hotel and board a luxury Mercedes Minivan for a drive (1.5h) south of Palermo through the "Sicilian Tuscany” passing the Gulf of Castellammare. Enjoy the landscape covered with Vineyards and Olive Plantations.

Stop At: Parco Archeologico Selinunte

Upon arrival visit the archeological park in SELINUNTE which is among the most extensive and impressive of Europe: it includes several temples, part of the excavated ancient city and a beautiful landscape. Selinunte is also one of the most evocative places in Sicily, never having been built over in modern times. In the 5th Century BC it was second only to Syracuse. Next will be a visit of an EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) Producer including a tasting of local olive products plus a homemade light lunch. The prestigious "Nocellara del Belice" olive variety has been grown here for centuries. An unrepeatable combination of the local soil and microclimate gives origin to DOP certified table olives and extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO). Drive back to your hotel in the afternoon.
