Head out in our 4x4 vehicle to a unique community forming a cooperative for eco sustainable tourism. Cross one of the highest hanging bridges in the country and enjoy a refreshing dip in a 120 foot waterfall deeply hidden in primary rainforest. Hike to the home of our friend Dona Corona where she will invite us for a home cooked lunch in her quaint home. Explore her garden, learn about the campesino lifestyle, and enjoy some locally grown fresh fruit and juice with one of the founders of the cooperative. After lunch we will have interactive experience of pressing sugar cane with a traditional sugar mill or Trapiche. Have you ever tried fresh sugarcane juice? It's delicious! We will then say goodbye to our new friends and then head back to your hotel or villa in the Manuel Antonio area.
