A wonderful tour to visit the tropical paradise Good Hope, one of Jamaica’s oldest plantations. 2000 acres of fruit and jungle with access to the grounds; including the huge zero-entry pool from which you can wade through 6 pools up to a 50ft waterfall, where you can jump off into a plunge pool. The gorgeous grounds include 18th Century buildings of historic importance and a walk at your leisure will take you across the bridge, through the aqueduct, to the great waterwheel that squeezed sugar cane. Walk the banks of the Martha Brae River. Sit in the hammocks in the shade. Purchase delicious real Jamaican country-style food in the Sugar House restaurant; and enjoy drinks at the wonderful thatched Caribbean River Bar. Visit the Gift Shop in the old sugar factory. Other tours can be purchased including ziplining or river-tubing. A wonderful day spent with nature and history.
