On vacation we take selfies, photograph our loved ones alone or let someone else take a quick cell phone photo of us. With the photo walk you have the opportunity to capture your holiday and your memories of the sights that our tour contains with all fellow travelers in the best photo quality. Enjoy the flair of the city and see the Innbrück arc, Passau St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Schaiblingsturm and the Dreiflusseck on our walk along the Innkai. Our tour ends at the Veste Oberhaus, which we either climb on foot or, if available, by shuttle bus or by car (this would have to be organized by yourself), where we take photos at the castle and, if possible, a unique sunset shoot with an unforgettable view over the whole make Passau. You will then (no later than 3 days after the shoot) receive a link to a Dropbox with the images. There will be around 30-40 images already edited.

Stop At:
We meet at the monument and start our tour from here. Here we will take the first pictures with the Marienbrücke in the background.

The Innbrück arch used to be the southern city gate of Passau and provides a beautiful backdrop for pictures on the way to the cathedral.

Stop At: Dom St. Stephan
St. Stephen's Cathedral characterizes the cityscape of Passau with its baroque construction.

The sculptor Jakob Bradl won the competition with his design. The program of figures is tailored entirely to Passau. A statue of Mary stands on a high column in the middle part of the octagonal fountain basin and three little angels in a wreath of figures at her feet dominate the fountain system.

During our photo walk we pass the Schaiblingsturm, in front of which you can have your picture taken. Small rocks on the edge of the tower allow for beautiful motifs with the Mariahilf pilgrimage church in the background.

We reach the triangle of three rivers. At the tip of the Passau peninsula, the so-called Ortspitze, both the Inn and the Ilz flow into the Danube. It is the only place in the world where three rivers coming from three directions meet and flow together into the fourth. The Ilz flows from the north, the Danube from the west and the Inn from the south to Passau. United as the Danube, they then move further east.

Stop At: Veste Oberhaus
We can now either walk over the Prinzregent Luitpoldbrücke and climb the stairs to the Oberhaus along the castle walls (the ascent is quite steep and about 100 meters in altitude) or alternatively find the car and drive up to the Oberhaus. You would have to organize a ride yourself. At the Oberhaus we will then take photos of you against the historic castle walls and at the vantage point at the observatory, from which you can see the whole city. If the shooting in the evening has been chosen, we can do a one-time sunset shooting here. Please note that admission to the museum is not included in our event. But since our tour ends here, you can look at everything privately after our shooting.
