Pass By: Ollantaytambo
We will start with the transfer from your hotel to the train station in Ollantaytambo, we will be able to appreciate impressive views of the mountainous terrain, Inca constructions that make up the area near Machu Picchu.
Pass By: Aguas Calientes
We will arrive at Aguas Calientes, the small town located at the base of this famous Inca site, and we will board a bus for a short 30-minutes trip that will take us to the entrance gate of the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu.
Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu
Together with our guide we will explore around two to three hours, our guide will share all the information about this wonderful place, you will walk through the main streets of this ancient wonder. You'll learn about the history and the design of the site as we walk through the town square, key religious sites, an elaborate network of agricultural terraces, and intricately designed stone staircases. After spending about 3 hours on the site with our guide, we will return by bus that will take us to the train station in Aguas Calientes, you will have time for your lunch (not included) at the indicated time we will take the chosen train that will take us to Cuzco.
