Bayahibe is the meeting point for all the participants of the excursion. We will get into our safari truck to go directly to the capital of the Altagracia, Higuey with 280,000 inhabitants to discover its local market, the population, a cigar factory in small group

Arriving at the town of higuey we head to the local market to discover the local products, spices and see the inhabitants. You can also admire the big city with its colorful houses and have a lot of information with our guide full of interesting stories

We will continue our trip passing by the sugar cane fields, taking the opportunity to share with you some information about it: its appearance in the country, its history... And of course, we will not miss to make you taste it. Yes, we never go in the back country without the machete! We will also pass in front of a Batey, village of sugar cane cutters and with a small exchange with the inhabitants of this village.

A last crossing of the land, then we will head towards the place where we will take the lunch, in edge of the river, in the jungle. On the menu, a traditional Dominican meal will be served with a panoramic view of the lush nature. After lunch, we will head to the platform boat for a trip down the river to admire the beauty of the landscape. We will finish with a swim in the river with access to a rope to have fun and jump like Tarzan! And after these wonderful memories we will take you back to the hotel.
