Day 1 Glasgow - Oxenholme - Lake District
Stop At: Glasgow Central Station
Use your e-ticket to board the train at Glasgow Central Railway Station and travel from Glasgow to Oxenholme (please note this is unaccompanied).

Stop At: Hawkshead
You will have time to explore the medieval town of Hawkshead.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Tarn Hows
Next stop is Tarn Hows, the natural beauty spot which was left to the National Trust to Beatrix Potter in her will.

Stop At: Coniston
Visit Coniston, famous for where Arthur Ransome based his childrens’ book ‘Swallows and Amazons’ on locations around Coniston Water.
Day 2 Ten Lakes Spectacular - Glasgow
Stop At: Kirkstone Pass
Travel over a Lake District Mountain Pass
Stop At: Ullswater
England's 2nd largest lake
Stop At: Castlerigg Stone Circle
One of the earliest British circles dating back over 4000 years
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Ashness Bridge
Visit the most photographed bridge in the Lake District, Ashness Bridge and continue onto Surprise View, boosting beautiful views over Derwentwater

Stop At: Honister Slate Mine
Continue into Borrowdale and over Honister Pass.
Stop At: Grasmere
Stop in Grasmere, famous for Sarah Nelson's Gingerbread & William Wordsworth
