Stop At: Richmond

Visit one of Tasmania's best preserved colonial villages, home to Australia's oldest bridge, the Richmond Bridge, constructed by convicts in the early 1800's. It takes around 30 minutes to reach Richmond from Hobart.

Pass By:

Dunalley is a rural fishing village, and the gateway to the Tasman Peninsula.

Stop At:

A quick stop to take in the this scenic lookout which gives us panoramic views of the Tasman Peninsular, Cape Hauy and Cape Pillar.

Stop At:

One of the many remarkable geological features found in the Tasman National Park.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At:

Another incredible geological feature of the Tasman National Park with an observation platform with sweeping views.

Stop At: Waterfall Bay

From Tasman Arch we'll walk along the sea cliffs to the magnificent Waterfall Bay, where waterfalls cascade into the Southern Ocean. This breathtaking area forms part of Tasman National Park. The walk to Waterfall Bay offers a scenic and gentle walk with outstanding forest and coastal scenery - we look for whales when they are migrating, sea eagles and other birdlife, wallabies and echidnas as well.

Including our visit to Tasman Arch, Devil's Kitchen and Waterfall Bay, we get to enjoy about 1.5hours exploring some of the remarkable natural geological features of Tasman National Park.

Our main attraction for the day - a visit to Australia's best preserved convict site, the World Heritage-listed Port Arthur Historic Site.
