People's Square is a large public square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai.
It is south of Nanjing Road (West) and north of Huaihai Road (East).

People's Square is the site of Shanghai's municipal government headquarters building and the standard reference point for measurement of distance of almost all highways in the Shanghai municipality is set in the north of the square, near the fountain.

The Shanghai French Concession was a foreign concession in Shanghai, China from 1849 until 1943, which progressively expanded in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The concession came to an end in 1943 when the French State under German pressure signed it over to the pro-Japanese Reorganized National Government of China in Nanjing.

For much of the 20th century, the area covered by the former French Concession remained the premier residential and retail district of Shanghai, and was also one of the centers of Catholicism in China. Despite re-development over the last few decades, the area retains a distinct character and is a popular tourist destination.

Stop At: Garden Bridge, Zhongshan East 1st Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China

Garden Bridge is the first all-steel bridge, and the only surviving example of a camelback truss bridge, in China. The present bridge is the fourth Western-designed bridge built at its location since 1856, in the downstream of the estuary of the Suzhou Creek, near its confluence with the Huangpu River, adjacent to the Bund in central Shanghai.

It connects the Huangpu and Hongkou districts and was opened on 20 January 1908. With its rich history and unique design the Waibaidu Bridge is one of the symbols of Shanghai.

1933 (or "Old Millfun") is a complex of restaurants and shops in Hongkou District of Shanghai, China. The poured-concrete structures once housed the Shanghai Municipal Council Slaughterhouse, the largest slaughterhouse in Shanghai at the time.

The Confucian Temple or Temple of Confucius of Shanghai (上海文庙) is a folk Confucian temple in the old city of Shanghai.

It is similar to the original temple of Confucius in his hometown Qufu and to the Beijing temple, but on a smaller scale. The temple is located on Wenmiao Road (文庙路) in Huangpu District.

The Wenmiao Market lies around it. The market opens every Sunday morning and hosts a temple fair.[

Route A: Bund - Park Bridge - 1933 Old Millfun - People’s Park - Xintiandi - Penglai Road

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel, then drive along the Bund which used to be called " the Exhibition of World Architectures" or you can stop at the Park Bridge and take some photos of the both sides of the Huangpu River. Then continue to drive to the 1933 Old Millfun that  was a former cattle slaughterhouse and derelict factory  in the 1930s. Afterwards  stop by  the People's park ,you can see how the local people practice Taichi and the tour will finish at Xintiandi area in the French Concession.

Route B: Bund - Confucius Temple - Xintiandi - Fuxing Road- Dong Ping Road - Wukang Road - Xuhui Historical Building Old House Art Center

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel, and take you to the Confucius Temple, where the local people pray for the ancient Chinese philosopher. Stroll around the nearby narrow streets, you can learn more about the local people's living condition. Afterwards stop at Xintiandi , the renovated stone arched gate houses or you may take a cup of coffee to have a break. Finally drive along Fuxing Road and Wukang Road in the French Concession to discover the romance of the French Concession.

Stop At: Wukang Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai China

Wukang Road (Chinese: 武康路) originally Route Ferguson (福开森路), is a historic road in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, China, located in the western part of the former French Concession area of the city.

In 2011 Wukang Road was recognized as one of the National Historic and Cultural Streets of China.
