Stop At: Pompeii Archaeological Park

Pick up at your hotel and departure to the famous Pompeii, the ancient Roman city which was buried by the lava during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Due to its healthy climate and pleasant scenery, Pompeii was a holiday resort for rich Romans. Stop At: Vesuvius National Park

After the tour enjoy a lunch in a typical restaurant, then we’ll depart to Vesuvius, reaching by car the height of 1.000mtrs then accompanied by an expert volcanological guide we’ll ascend the crater with a 20 mins walk. From here you can admire the wonderful view of the Gulf of Naples on the horizon and walk on one of the still active craters of Europe. The eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD is the main eruptive event that occurred on Vesuvius in historical times. The eruption, which profoundly changed the morphology of the volcano and the surrounding territories, resulted in the destruction of the cities of Herculaneum, Pompeii, Oplontis and Stabia, whose ruins, which were buried under layers of pumice, were brought to light starting from the 18th century.
