In this full-day tour, you will go outside Cartagena to the first stop: El Totumo, the smallest volcano in Colombia. Take a bath in the warm and thick mud that has medicinal benefits and then wash the mud up in a lake near the volcano. After this first experience, go to Manzanillo beach, to enjoy the rest of the day in the ocean. Dare yourself to try something different with us! Stop At: Volcan de Lodo El Totumo (Mud Volcano)
One hour away from Cartagena you'll find the famous Mud Volcano! The volcano and its simple infrastructure are maintained by locals who will guide you to the stairs and on the way up to the top from where you will be able to contemplate the landscape of the Totumo swamp. Once there, enter the mud crater, but don’t worry, although it seems to have no bottom, it will be impossible to sink because of the thickness of the mud. After relaxing and enjoying the warm temperature of the mud bath, go down to the Totumo swamp to clean yourself.

Stop At: Manzanillo del Mar
The town of Manzanillo, on the way to the center of Cartagena, will be the last place to visit for the day. There you will enjoy a delicious and typical lunch with fried or stewed fish, rice with coconut, salad, and patacones: a crunchy snack made of green plantain. In Manzanillo, you will have time to enjoy the rest of the day, before we make our way back to Cartagena and the hotel.
