Stroll Esplanade Avenue and learn about the magnificent mansions built in the early to mid 19th century. Learn about the people who built their homes on this ridge.

Stop At: Faubourg Marigny

As you head into the Marigny Neighborhood, you will learn about the different cultures that made up this area such as the Creoles, Irish, Germans, and Haitians. Local architects and builders created a rich variety of home types and styles that would be hard to find anywhere else!

Stop At: Frenchmen Street

A quick stroll down Frenchmen Street reveals the new entertainment corridor in New Orleans. Clubs, dance-halls, and restaurants line this street. Be sure to plan an evening here!
