My husband and I can't stop saying how we truly enjoyed this tour! The entire experience was incredible. We have done a few tours and I would say that this is definitely one of our favorites. What made this tour stood out from the others is our guide, Marco and our driver, Alejandro. Marco is truly a historian and a story-teller. You can immediately tell that he is passionate about Mayan history. He gets the group engage and he's funny too! Alejandro was very friendly and was flexible to accommodate our pick-up/drop- off request. This was worth getting up at 5am. You beat the crowd and heat. We highly recommend it. Thank you again Marco and Alejandro!

It's a long trip out to the site but going early and beating the crowds and the heat is a tremendous advantage. The guide was very knowledgable and explained a lot. It would have been better if he kept us moving however as people seem to stop listening after 15-20 minutes of explanation. More and shorter stops would be better. Overall though it is excellent and you get free time to explore as well.
