Step onto famous surfing beaches on the Surf Coast and get some sand between your toes. Walk along a beautiful beach.

Commemorating the workers that built the road, stop for a photo opportunity with the Great Ocean Road Sign!

Stop At: Apollo Bay Museum
Enjoy exploring Apollo Bay for a local lunch (at your own expense) before checking out the spoils of this beautiful coastal town.

Stop At: Great Otway National Park
Embark on a guided bushwalk in the ancient Otway Rainforest with some special flora and fauna.

Day 2 Coastlines to Culture we journey from the Great Ocean Road into the Grampians National Park
Stop At: Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve
Victoria’s first National Park is a 30 000 year old extinct volcano. Originally the land of the local Koroitgundidj people is now a wildlife wonderland full of Koalas, Emus, Kangaroos, Magpie Geese, Echidnas, Possums as well as waterbirds.

Stop At: Mount Rouse
Take a walk to the very top of this extinct volcano and enjoy spectacular views of lava fields and surrounding landscape. On a clear day you can see the ocean to the south and Grampians to the north.

Stop At: Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre
Spend time in Halls Gap and get your lunch in numerous cafes or restaurants. Try a classic Aussie pie or a traditional gellati.

Learn about the history and culture of Jardwadjali and Djab Wurring Aboriginal tribes. Surrounding gardens are a great place to relax and spot more wildlife.

Explore the breathtaking beauty of massive sandstone outcrops and eucalypt covered slopes with a 2 hour long hike will take you to the top of the Wonderland Range offering breathtaking views of the Grampians and the Wimmera plains. Sturdy hiking shoes with good grip and at least 2 litres of water are essential.

Day 3 Explore the rugged wilderness of the Grampians National Park
