A typical visit can last 2 to 3 hours, but those wishing to delve deeper into Jamestown's history can easily spend half a day or more exploring the island. Take a tour with an archaeologist, education specialist, or park ranger to hear about the latest discoveries. Break for lunch or a quick snack at the Dale House Café by the water’s edge before continuing on to the Archaearium, a museum that houses some of the most spectacular finds of the two million artifacts uncovered since the Jamestown Rediscovery Project began in 1994
