You'll get a hands-on training from a qualified instructor. You'll master how to make three types of sushi in just one experience. Sushi fish is a high quality and special order for this class. Even if this is your first sushi making experience, you will be amazed at how wonderful it is! You'll also make yakitori (grilled chicken) as a side dish. Skewer fresh chicken thighs yourself and grill them with a savory sauce. You'll learn miso soup from scratch. Your instructor will give you knowledge of ingredients to take Japanese broth. Vegetarians are welcome. Let me know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.

Itinerary Details

At the beginning of this class, the instructor shows you a short video that walks you through what you'll cook and overviews the steps in general including a little bit about the history of sushi. Then wearing original Kimono style apron and the class starts at making on your own sushi rice. Your instructor provides a wooden tub and paddle for each participant so that you can make your own sushi rice separately.

Next, everyone participates together to make rolled eggs for egg sushi with a rectangle-shaped frying pan. After that, making traditional Japanese stock ‘Dashi’ then make Miso soup with fancy shaped vegetables and tofu.

In this experience, you make 3 kinds of Sushi (9 nigiri-sushi, 2 gunkan-maki, and 1 rolled-sushi). All the ingredients (10 kinds of high quality sushi fish) are all included in this activity! Besides, you skewer the Chicken and making Yakitori, too.

At the end, place the dishes, along with chopsticks and let's say “Itadakimasu”! Please enjoy the meal you made served with the complimentary seasonal dessert.
