Toubkal Ascent Trek 1 night and 2 days: Climbing the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa, Jebel Toubkal or Mount Toubkal, with its summit at 4167m, is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that takes only two days and 60 kilometers from Marrakech to Imlil valley (also known as Small Chamonix), the trek's beginning point. Trekking. Gazing at the High Atlas Mountains from afar—or even from eye level with Imlil as a base—will not do credit to your encounter with the stunning and exotic Moroccan sceneries. With so many guides, both private and group, available for expeditions, the journey to Imlil without the trek is almost not worth it. The 13,670-foot top of Mt. Toubkal is the apex of High Andes hiking, both metaphorically and practically.

Day 1 Marrakech transfer to Imlil - Trekking to Refuge camp
Stop At: Marrakech
We pick up from Marrakech and we drive towards the High Atlas Mountains and Asni.
Duration: 2 hour
Stop At: Imlil
Arrival to Imlil, meet the team (guide & muleteer) and the set off for the trek.

Stop At:
Start the trek from Imlil village at (1740m) Walking up Toubkal massif via Aroumd village & follow a mule path, pass through the sharine sidi chamharouch at ( 2280m ), enjoy the view over the river & streams along the way up to the Toubkal basecamp where wil spend the night at ( 3200m ). overnight at the Hut. Enjoy total of 5-6 hrs walk.Overnight at the Toubkal Refuge 3200m

Day 2 Refuge - Trek to the Top of Toubkal - Imlil - Transfer back to Marrakech
Stop At:
Today after an early breakfast (at 4.30am), we start the ascent via a step & zig-zaging path up to above the basecamp (3200m), the guide will manage many breaks to acclimatize with the altitude & find a good pace, water & some nuts will be provided along the way, 1st view of the summit after 2.30hrs walk, enjoy the sight of the edge & a stunning view over the river on the other side, continue through the edge and then a small plateau to reach the summit (4167m) within another 30min walk. relax & enjoy the views of the surrounding high Atlas peaks & valleys, light picnic before you walk down via the north side of the summit back to the basecamp (3200m) for a 3 meals cours lunch.

After short break we walking down to Imlil valley (via the same path), get a pick up & drive to Marrakech.

Stop At: Marrakech
Get a pick up by a driver in Imlil and we drive you to Marrakech. End of Toubkal trek.
