Visit the Mayan Ruins and Ruta de Las Flores in the same day! The trip starts by visiting Joya de Ceren (if its open) or San Andres. Joya de Ceren has been opening intermittently because of renovations and we cant wait to start taking visitors there, if Joya de Ceren is still closed, we will visit San Andres. Then we will visit Tazumal, which hosts the biggest pyramid in the country. After Tazumal, we will drive to Ataco and walk on its cobble-stone streets, we will check out the murals and we will show you great places to buy coffee. After here, we will visit Juayua and on its Central Park, in the weekends Food Festival. Then we drive back to San Salvador.

Tazumal is the biggest Mayan Pyramid in El Salvador. We will walk around the main structure and check out the museum, for a total time of about an hour.

The Jewel of Salvadoran Archeology. Joya de Ceren is currently going through maintenance and its opening days are still unpredictable, we will visit this site if its open. If not, we will visit San Andres Site.

Ataco is located in the mountain ridge of Ruta de Flores. Its a beautiful town decorated with murals. The coffee in this area is one of the best in the country.
