Although it stands only at 2,392 meters tall, Mount Bromo's beauty lies in its incredible surroundings. For the Tengger people, Mount Bromo has a special significance as it is believed to be the spot where a brave prince sacrificed himself for his family. Once a year, they hold the Kasada festival to honor the gods by offering vegetables, chickens, and money thrown into the volcano's crater.

Start your exciting expedition with a convenient pick up from the Airport / Hotel / Train Station in Surabaya by our professional local driver and tour guide at 11.30 pm. Travel 3 to 4 hours to the Mount Bromo area.
Duration: 4 hour
Stop At: Mount Bromo
Transfer to a thrilling ride on a 4WD jeep to Mount Penanjakan where you will witness the perfect sunrise view. After the sun ascends the sky, you will head over to Hill of Love by 4WD jeep for a photo opportunity.
Duration: 2 hour
Stop At: Mount Bromo
Cross Sea of Sand (Horse ride is available, rental fees are excluded). Then climb 250 stairs to reach the rim of Bromo Crater. Return back to your jeep at around 8 - 9 am.

Stop At: Madakaripura Waterfall
Head to Madakaripura Waterfall to enjoy the magnificent natural sight, the journey is about 1 hour driving. This is optional, you can skip waterfall if you want. Kindly note that entrance fee for Madakaripura Waterfall is not included. If you would like to visit, the entrance fee for Madakaripura Waterfall is around IDR250,000/person including the local Madakaripura Waterfall tour guide & motorbike ride (about 5 minutes ride). Do note that for the tour guide at Madakaripura Waterfall are not our tour guide. They are the local people there who actually insisted on being guides due to lack of job opportunity there, and we are unable to choose the tour guide because there are queue guide rules by the local authority. Thus, the tour guide might not be able to speak english at all but the tour guide will stay with you in & out the waterfall.
