Since we will be getting up early, we will make a rest stop in the state of Delaware for breakfast and to stretch our legs before arriving in Washington.

Pass By: The Pentagon

Before entering the city we will pass by the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense, located in the state of Virginia, where approximately 26,000 military and civilian employees work in a 12-story Pentagon-shaped building built during World War II. It is currently the largest office building in the world and was one of the targets of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Stop At: Arlington National Cemetery

Where you can find one of the most famous scenes of the cinema, the stairs where the movie Rocky was filmed. We will make an extra stop in New Jersey where we will have a panoramic view of Manhattan illuminated like in the postcards.
