Explore the peaceful countryside of Phnom Penh by bicycle where you’ll encounter experience with the real life of local people, mango plantations, lemongrass farms, Khmer sedge mat weaving village and silk weaving workshop of the Mekong River as much as a beautiful paddy rice fields, lotus pond and have a chance to see a numerous of wetland birds. This moderate biking adventure is for those who love cycling and able to manage a 40 km distance through the flat terrains of the Phnom Penh countryside. After we cycle through the countryside, farmland and visit a sedge weaving workshop, we continue to another handicraft village where you’ll learn more about Khmer silk weaving and enjoy the local lunch with them. Finally, we have a short ride to the ferry and get on our supported vehicle back to your hotel. This leisurely discovery of Phnom Penh countryside, offering the chance of real-life local experience in Cambodia.

We will pick you up at your accommodation from 7:30am and have a short transfer to our meeting point at the Areyksat ferry dock which is located near the diamond island. At the arrival point, we saddle up our bike, check the brake and our cycling guide will make a short brief of the bike, traffic and our tour. Then, we get a local ferry crossing of the Mekong River and reach the Phnom Penh countryside which is about 5- or 10-minutes’ drive on the ferry.

Throughout this half day cycling journey, you will explore the beautiful countryside of Phnom Penh, where we cycle through the mango plantations, banana, lemongrass, corns and a numerous of vegetable farms. Explore a beautiful paddy rice fields, lotus pond and have a chance to see a numerous of wetland birds and connect with a local artisan when we visiting to the sedge weaving workshop and silk weaving workshop as long as we enjoy Khmer local lunch at the villager house and experience with the local foods before we cycle back to our starting point to sign off the tour.
