After a morning pickup at your Cusco hotel, you will depart for the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your first stop is the Moray archaeological site, a series of circular terraces built into natural depressions and thought to have been used for agricultural research by the Incas.

Continue on foot to the Salineras, a cluster of salt pans built into the steep mountian-side. Salt has been collected here since before the arrival of the Incas to the area, and you will likely see locals harvesting their pans in the traditional manner.

Break for a picnic lunch, then continue to village of Pachar, located on the less developed side of the Urubamba River. From there, depart on an gentle and beautiful hike toward Perollniyoc Waterfall. You will pass agricultural fields, locals leading sheep and cows to pasture and small traditional homes along the way, arriving at the falls in about 2 hours. Pause for a snack and rest near the base of the falls, then climb to interesting Inca ruins directly above.

Late afternoon/early evening return to your Cusco hotel.
