The first place to be is the REUNIFICATION PALACE: One of the most unique and historically palace throughout Vietnam, which used to be the head-quarter of the old government before 1970s. The destination is now selected to be special heritage as it keeps a lot of monuments and remnants.
Then, the next places will be NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL,and SAIGON CENTRAL POST OFFICE, just nearby the palace. Both of them are the symbols of Ho Chi Minh city. These Gothic styled French colonial building was physically being built around 1880- 1886. The Cathedral was nominated as a Basilica by Vatican, the other one was designed by famous architecture - Gustave Eiffel.
Back to the nicer side of Saigon and Vietnam, you will be able to see the impressive structures of OPERA HOUSE. The most important building of the City is the CITY HALL located at the end of the beautiful WALKING STREET - a must visit place in Saigon these days.
Getting to the WAR REMNANTS MUSEUM - the place that highlights the sad time in Vietnam's history. However it is definitely an unique destination to set some prospects on your trip to see how the country has come and how it is heading in the future.
Last but not least, we will stop at the JADE EMPEROR PAGODA, one of the most spectacularly colorful temples dedicated to King of Heaven and filled worth exquisite and phantasmal statues.
