Join us to taste flavorful tacos, visit fabulous filming locations, and learn about Hollywood’s rich history. Starting in the birthplace of Los Angeles, at the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument, you’ll hear about California’s Mexican origins as your local guide leads you through the downtown district. Naturally, you can’t talk about Mexican influence and not experience arguably one of the country’s most famous culinary exports: the taco. You’ll get to try several different tacos throughout the tour, as well as a couple of other delectable dishes. In addition to Los Angeles’ deep history, you’ll also explore the beginnings of modern-day Hollywood. Your guide will fill you in on the locations and buildings you’ll pass by that have been part of movies and TV shows for decades - you’re sure to recognize some of them! When your tour comes to a close, you’ll have a new appreciation for the origins of the City of Angels and Hollywood, and, of course, be full of tasty tacos!

Join our local guide as we take you on a tour of Downtown Los Angeles, sampling tacos and other dishes while learning about and experiencing the best of Hollywood history.
Stop At:
Explore the birthplace of LA at this incredible plaza that dates back to the 1780s. Here, you’ll sample your first taco (arguably Mexico’s most famous culinary export) as you hear about the historic buildings that surround you.

Stop At: Olvera Street
Take a stroll down Olvera Street, where the majority of LA’s most historic buildings can be found. This pedestrian mall hosts vendors of all kinds that pay tribute to California’s Mexican heritage and history - and provides another fabulous opportunity to sample some local fare.

Stop At: Union Station
The largest rail terminal in the Western US, Union Station will surely be a favorite stop for architecture and film lovers alike! This gorgeous and historic building has been used in films for decades, including Blade Runner, The Italian Job, and The Dark Knight Rises.

Enjoy a visit to the bustling Grand Central Market, LA’s oldest market, as your guide provides yet another flavorful taco for you to enjoy. You’ll definitely want to come back when your tour is over for some shopping on your own!

This red brick building holds a special place in LA history - it’s the city’s oldest landmarked building, dating back to the late 1800s. The interior still has that turn-of-the-century charm with bird-cage elevators, cast-iron filigree metalwork, and rich wood walls that envelope the naturally-lit central atrium.

Also known as the Broadway Arcade, this historic building (originally a school in the 1880s) has enjoyed a revitalization in the last few years and is now host to a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars - and is where you’ll enjoy another delectable taco!

We’ll pass by the Los Angeles Theatre as we explore the heart of LA’s Broadway Theatre District. You may recognize this beautiful building from films such as Funny Lady and Charlie’s Angels, as well as various TV shows and music videos.

As your tour takes you through this quaint public park, you’ll enjoy several unique pieces of public art and sculpture of all shapes and sizes.

As your tour comes to an end, we’ll pass by the Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Not only is this locale a favorite of visiting celebrities, it’s also a favorite filming location! Movies such as 10 Things I Hate About You, Ghostbusters, Wedding Crashers, and many, many more have had scenes filmed here over the years.
