Spanish cooking class, market tour and lunch inside Triana market
There's no better way to immerse yourself in Seville's extraordinary culinary identity than with a cooking class and tour of a local food market. Enter a kitchen and let a professional chef introduce you to this magical city's rich food culture.
Meet your friendly guide at Triana Market, where vendors sell colorful produce, succulent meats, fresh cheese, and a variety of other local delicacies. Everything you need to prepare an exceptional Spanish feast can be found here.
Next, let a professional chef show you the ins and outs of working in a Spanish kitchen during a hands-on cooking class. Work side by side with your chef and discover how to combine various ingredients and spices to achieve the special zest that sets Spanish food apart from the rest.
Menu to cook:
• Salmorejo or gazpacho
• Seasonal tapa (Spinach with chickpeas, Spanish potato omellete or Codfish fritters, etc.)
• Paella Valenciana as main course
• Light dessert such as lemon sorbet with cava
All ingredients and materials are provided by the school. Sangria and table olives are served during the class and at the end guests eat what has been cooked, accompanied by up to two drinks (soft drinks, Spanish wine or local beer).
All of our recipes can be adapted to any dietary restriction. Please advise in advance if a change in the menu is required.
Once back home, you will be able to practice what you have learnt. We will give you written recipes and lots of tips!
About your hosts:
¡Hello we are Victoria and Dome!
Victoria is a professional chef born and raised in Sevilla. For more than 10 years she was living and working abroad on Germany, UK, Madrid and Barcelona as a pastry chef and chef de partie. She loves cooking and she will be delighted to show you more about the secrets of the Spanish cuisine.
Domenico’s passion for cooking started early, helping out at his uncle’s restaurant at the age of 13. Later he began his career as a cook, spending his professional years in Mallorca, where he learnt the secrets to making the perfect paella. Now living in Seville with his Sevillana wife, Dome enjoys teaching also at Taller Andaluz de Cocina.
Cooking and teaching really fascinates us and we are passionate about Paella, Spain’s most international dish. We love to teach people how to cook the authentic paella!
Eatwith is the world's largest online marketplace for unique culinary experiences with locals. Savor local food and enjoy intimate supper clubs, hands-on cooking classes and bespoke private dining events in beautiful homes and exclusive venues with your loved ones.
