An Italian Farm-to-Fork Dinner

Francesco and Adisa open their enchanting craftsman home for a unique pop-up dinner based on delicious Italian dishes make with seasonal and organic ingredients from local farmers. All meals are made from scratch in front of you! You will interact with our chefs while enjoying beautiful local and international people.

What to expect :
• Farm to fork social culinary experience including a combination of the freshest and seasonal organic
ingredients from local farms
• A boutique wine tasting will be offered. Guests are welcome to BYOB
• Craftsman home featuring communal table seating up to 14 located in trendy Golden Hill neighborhood
• Can cater to reasonable dietary restrictions upon request

The event is focused on the Italian art of making beautiful dishes based on quality and essence. You will have fun sharing a meal with locals while discovering real Italian flavors in Southern California!

About your hosts Adisa & Francesco:
"We were born in countries where the importance of food is rooted in our culture. Francesco - from Sicily (Italy) - is an avid traveler and has been sharing his food culture for many years, and through this, connecting with people from all over the world. Adisa - from Bosnia - is the catalyst for our social gatherings, whether it’s an artistically inspired international dinner or an adventurous road trip through Southern California. We like to always experiment with new recipes, incorporating our cultures in our cuisine. We have built strong relationships with many local farmers, providers, and local nonprofits in San Diego."

LET'S share meals together

Pasta or Risotto
Our chef will make a pasta dish or a risotto, both traditional in the Italian cuisine. We use only few fresh ingredients starting everything with our favorite gold liquid, a beautiful Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Sicily

Chef's Treat
Our chef likes always to surprise our guests. Tonight he can make his famous Octopus or his magical Shrimps marinated in curry and basil.

Secondo Piatto
Another main dish will be served on our communal table. It can be chicken from Three Sons Farm in Ramona or beef/lamb from Da Le Ranch in Lake Elsinore or a nice fish from Southbay Fishery in San Diego.

DOLCE

Tiramisu or Panna Cotta or Gelato
We like to finish our pop-up dinners with one of our signature dessert. It can be a tiramisu made with savoiardi dipped in espresso coffee, rum, mousse of Mascarpone, cocoa powder; Panna Cotta made with organic cream, agar agar, coconut palm sugar and vanilla; Gelato made with wonderful local and Italian ingredients.
