National Museum of Ethiopia

The National Museum of Ethiopia houses many of Ethiopia’s artistic treasures as well as valuable archaeological finds. Some of its most famous exhibits include the fossilized remains of early hominids such as "Lucy"and “Selam”, estimated to be 3.3 million years old and considered the earliest child. The museum also exhibits archaeological objects like pots, bronze tools, ancient scripts, ruins from different monuments, minted coins and crescent discs among other items.
