Hassan II Mosque

Built on the sea, the translation of the verse of the quran which proclaims the throne of god was built on the water. The mosque is a truly marvelous piece of architecture. A huge monument, it can accommodate 25,000 worshipers inside and another 80,000 outside. The founder, King Hassan ll, wished that the city be endowed with a large and beautiful building of which it can be proud Until the end of time. The most exquisite examples of Moroccan mosque craftsmanship are the zellij coverings, some models over 10 meters high. The mosque is one of the largest in the world.

Quartier Habous
30 minutes
Well here you will spend most of the time, plenty of traditional shops around. The decor is so captivating that you don't feel the time passing. The village built with all the conveniences that local Moroccans would need, it was above all intended to welcome new inhabitants coming from different regions of the kingdom. It has all the necessary facilities that the inhabitants will need, namely mosques, a community oven, houses and of course the majestic palace. The subtle blend between French architecture and Moorish style is truly impressive. However, due to these characteristics, the village ended up attracting wealthy businessmen, which explains the number of shops owned by wealthy Fez residents.

Marche Central Casablanca

The first market at the time of the protectorate, a modern place intended to sell European groceries namely pork, vegetables, fruits, fish and liquors. After independence, the site remains an important place for locals to source locally cut fresh fish and buy Moroccan spices. Some are still used to going there to buy horse meat as well. A place full of such intriguing sights with some hidden antique pieces.

Notre Dame de Lourdes
