Franschhoek E-Bike Wine Tour (Half Day)

A great morning.
Very well lead by Ulrich. Good long cycle along quiet roads and tracks to coffee. Then on to a wine tasting (Chamonix) with beautiful views and good wines.
Back through some smooth tracks to end a great 3 1/2 hours.
The e-bikes take the strain on the hills and you can peddle hard of soft as you like.
Thoroughly recommend.

This was a 15km biking tour of 4 or 5 wineries (LOL I can't remember). However, learning to pair wines with food tasting was an exquisite experience. They presented to us their best wines which were just that. The two of us had hired a tour guide that took us on a wonderful afternoon journey. We paced ourselves in the tasting and on the ride. This is a treat that should not be missed.

Great experience to see the region, relaxed and active the same time. Enthusiastic guide in a wonderful environment.

We had a great day with eBikes around the beautiful vignards in the Franchhoek area. Prince was our guide he was really funny and he explained us the main stories around the areas. Had some great wine tasting.
The only negative comment is that Viator put the wrong address as a meeting point so we had to schedule the trip differently from how it was defined!

Wonderful safe and fun tour with Prince, a fabulous guide, who took care of everything to make it a very enjoyable experience. Nice winetasting and easy cycling with e-support. Thank you so much, and I will certainly do that again!

Lovely circular route around Franschhoek on back roads, with a couple of tasting stops of course.
Oudts was great company, and knowledgeable about the area in general - so ask him lots of questions!
Great alternative the other ways to tour, and you get a bit of sunny exercise thrown in - with a little help up the hills from the motor!
All in all, a fab way to spend a morning or afternoon in beautiful Franschhoek

Very helpful as we were in a bit of a muddle re accommodation. We received the best care and we probably would like to do it again if we come back to Franschhoek.

This was a very enjoyable trip. We met our guide with the bikes and he gave us a quick safety brief and showed us how the bikes worked especially the way you switch to the assisted E system This helps a lot when you feel you are going off road and you need assistance to keep up with the fitter & younger cyclists. Easy to use and a pleasure to ride I felt safe being in a group of 6. We used a mix of normal roads keeping to the inside of the road in some cases the area was lined for safety. Then off road which could be bumpy but with the big tyres we hardly felt it.
Our guide gave us choices of wine tastings but we did feel he had his favourites. Although he didn’t drink wine only coffee. He let us enjoy the tastings which were great value. We covered around 10 to 12 Kilometers and it was so satisfying when we got back to our start point.
My bike just lost its power a mile or so out but my son swapped bikes so I could make the last mile which did have a few gradients. Altogether a great trip which I would gladly recommend to everyone .

Brilliant trip so much better than the tram that we did following day.
Tram is good but boozy whilst the e bikes feel more sporty and more interactive with fellow e bikers.

My wife and I have been bikers for years but this was our first experience of an E-Bike - and it won't be our last. What a pleasure to cycle the off roads and paths around some of the beautiful wine farms of the district whilst working up a thirst but not a sweat! We stopped at two wineries for tastings (not too much!) before returning to Franschhoek. Our guide Nick was excellent and informative.
