Leaving Cape Town towards east. Our journey into the wine country will take us past some of cape Town and South Africa's most well known townships. The first one Langa, is the oldest township in south Africa dated back from 1823. Compared to other squatter like townships of South Africa, Langa is well developed and has seen a local economy here grow from strength to strength over the years. Some of the new notable Industries here includes ceramic manufacturing, Traditional South African Bistros as well as filming. Safe house by Denzell Washington is one of the most famous movies that were filmed here. About 45 to 60 minutes Drive to the first wine estate call Zevenwacht wine estate.
