Elephant & Monkey Sanctuary Tour from Johannesburg

Very fun. Worth it. With the full price one you get a whole day's worth of memories to the elephants, monkeys playing with you and then a 2 hour safari at lion safari park. Well worth it.

Jason was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. He's an excellent driver. We made it to the Sanctuary just before the tour with the elephants started. We fed and walked with the elephants, then we're able to touch them and pose for pictures. I even got an elephant kiss. Amazing! Then we went over to the monkey side and got up close and personal with lemurs and monkeys who would climb over you to get the food. Wow!

The views, animals and tour guides were amazing!! It was a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so happy I got to experience it! The whole day was so easy going!

Great time and great experience with a great guide. Would recommend to anyone, but the monkeys can be a bit overwhelming if you are not prepared.

Jason was a great guide and driver. It was the perfect amount of interaction and casual conversation. The sanctuary was a good time, especially the elephants. We did some research to make sure that the sanctuary was legit. It is! The guides and handlers really seem to care for the elephants. Overall great experience. The moneys were fun, but go for the elephant interaction!

It was all good. Great chance to see animals and driver was very polite and helpful. Animals seemed well treated.

Fun trip. You get the opportunity to interact with the elephants touching and hugging them. The monkeys are all over you. Both are very sweet and it is fun to have the one on one interaction. The tourguide picks you up on time at your hotel and assures that you are comfortable with all needs met.

This was a dream come true. We were taken from Johannesburg to the Elephant and Monkey Sanctuaries and the Lion Safari Park to tour each. Jason, our tour guide, went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing and unforgettable experience. He is knowledgeable, friendly and has your best interests in mind when he suggests activities for you. It was an experience interacting with the elephants and monkeys. Jason is the best. What an absolutely AMAZING day. I would highly recommend this activity, but Jason made the day flawless. We are staying out of their typical pickup zone, but Jason was awesome and helped the crew out anyway. He reached out the day before to confirm, showed up a little early and was WONDERFUL during our multi hour drive to the Elephants and Monkeys. Jason has a microphone in his Van!! It made a HUGE difference in being able to understand what he was sharing with us. I have been on many tours and outings and have never experienced one with a microphone. We did a private tour and we were a mix of tourists and Joberg locals. Even the locals learned a ton. Jason was knowledgeable, flexible and helpful.
So, between being able to PHYSICALLY interact with the Elephants and monkeys and the great care Jason took of us...I cannot recommend this tour enough.
