Bush Safari

Die Tour war sehr informativ, die Führerin Sonja hat ein umfangreiches Wissen über die Tiere und das Verhalten gehabt und ist auf die Tourgäste individuell eingegangen.
Wir haben alle tiere gesehen, von den Nilpferden zwar nur die Köpfe aber hierbei handelt es sich auch um wilde Tiere.
Würde es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Amazing location. Saw most animals that we wanted to, only missed out on the Buffalo, but I don’t blame them for hiding in this heat!

Es war eine schöne Safari, vor allem der Preis war sehr gut. Man kann ja deutlich mehr ausgeben für eine Safari.

Wir hatten die Tour um 9:00 morgens, das war auch sehr gut denke ich. Vorher waren wir im Restaurant auf der Buffelsdrift Lodge frühstücken, es war Buffet, auch für uns als externe Gäste möglich.

Auf der Safari selbst haben wir leider nur sehr wenig Tiere gesehen, ich denke aber, da kann Buffelsdrift nichts dafür, denn es war ein sehr kalter und regnerischer Tag und als Wildtier hätte ich mich auch verkrochen. Aber das wird sicher an anderen Tagen anders ausgehen. Und Giraffen und Kudus und einen Büffel für ganz kurz hatten wir auch. Und natürlich das Safari-Feeling auf dem umgebauten Jeep, ganz großartig!

Started with the very enjoyable bush safari. Saw the giraffes and white rhinos along with other animals. Then paid extra to do the elephant feeding experience. Incredible memory. As well as feeding them and giving them a hug plenty of once in a lifetime photo opportunities. Included in the bush safari ticket was light lunch. Deserves to be called big dinner. Mega portion of delicious food. Overall far exceeded expectations

Wat een vriendelijke en mooie manier van benaderen ! Wij waren aangenaam verrast door de leuke manier waarop deze gamedrive word gehouden ! Na eerdere wild drive tours hadden we enkel de giraf nog niet gespot en dat kwam deze keer ruimschoots goed ook met twee kleine giraffen die erg nieuwsgierig waren was het voor ons een meer dan geslaagde trip! Leuke gezellige dame aan boord en we leerden veel over de natuur en de dieren in het park

Had a great tour this morning, 2 hours through the park and at least half a dozen sightings of Giraffes, springboks, just to name a few.

Fantastic. A great afternoons safari. The guide was really knowledgeable throughout and very helpful.

We chose the bush safari as we wanted to see the animals living in the wild (although it’s a game reserve, but the guys really take care of them all and doing a great job). Views are out of this world! Our guide explained to us everything about the wild animals living on the estate, which was really insightful. It was raining, and it was cold, but we managed to see even meerkats. Usually they go out of their holes early in the morning to soak up the sun, but since the weather was bad, they got out while we were there! Amazing!!! Such a bonus!

OK, it wasn't Kruger, it is a small, private reserve 1/20 the size.
It does make a huge effort to home a lot of endangered animals and for that it is wonderful.

There is not a zoo feel to the bush safari, as you see animals grazing in their natural habitat. The animals are cared for and happy.

Half way through the adventure, they pull over and we got out of the jeep and were treated to water, ice tea, and beer.

Very informative and a lot of fun.

A group of 4,2 couples, went on the afternoon game drive and it didn’t disappoint. With a knowledgeable guide - Katherine - who drove us we saw springboks, giraffes, Cape buffalo, rhino, meerkat, Nyala , grey roebuck and a glims of eland. The two hours flew by and the blankets came in handy as the wind was quite bitter. The views were stunning. Would highly recommend if you are in the Oudtshoorn area.
