Wow!! What a company

Chidi, Omy & Munta were all so welcoming I felt like I was immediately apart of the Kamal destinations family.

From start to finish (airport pick up to airport drop off and everything else inbetween) I was very well looked after. This can be daunting being a solo female traveller in Africa. Anytime I needed omy chidi or munta, even if the were on other tours or busy I could whataspp them and get a response straight away which is so reassuring.

I did prison island, nakupena beach, stone town and Mnemba island with the company. Every single trip was fantastic, I was explained throughout the history of each place, why each place is called what it is.. how long it’s been there etc. nothing was rushed and I really enjoyed myself.

The food included for Mnemba island was amazing! I was full for the whole day

The people were so lovely, even when sharing a boat with others we all got along so well!

I was shown my munta and chidi local restaurants in stone town.. without them I wouldn’t have had a clue! They had the nicest food. Munta even brought my breakfast one day and chidi brought my dinner which was so lovely and unexpected. Also omy brought my dinner on the first evening (a zanzibar mix at the night market is a must!! ) and they were all so selfless they never expected anything back <3. People are really what make a place feel like a home! So welcoming, so friendly, so kind, so caring and most of all SO FUNNY. I laughed non stop & I most definitely will be back to zanzibar in no time 🥺☺️

Amazing tour- thoughtful & well planned. Omy and his colleagues are so lovely and they take the time to customise and cater to your needs. Omy even assisted us in another region and ensured that we are taken care on the other side of the island. Additionally it’s good to know that when booking with Omy you are supporting local and that the funds go into their communities.

Omy and his team were the absolute best! We went on the stone town, prison island and spice farm tour as well as the mnemba island tour and they made sure we had an amazing time! They made us feel comfortable and gave the best services with a smile on their face all along. Don’t hesitate and go for it .. will definitely recommend them to my friends and I’ll be back again too 😊

Very pleased with the services. We had two trips with them, first we had the Stone Town Tour, and the next day we went to Prison Island and Nakupenda sand bank. We also had a sea food barbeque and fruits. These were waaaay beyond our expectations. Sorry I did not take any pictures, but believe me it was huge and great quality (lobsters, prowns, octapus, squid, and fish - I think it was tuna).
Our tour guide was great (Hassan). His English level was very good. He explained what we needed to know and answered all of our questions. He even helped us understand the local vs tourist prices, so this was a huge help because we were able to negotiate some great deals at the market and local shops.
One of the evenings they also arranged for some local ladies to come at our hotel and braid my wife's hair and it was an awesome result.
At the end of our stay in Stone Town, they hepled us to also rent a car for the rest of our trip.
So basically, this is like an all inclusive agency. Anything you want, you just ask them and I am sure they can help.
Also, they were super fast answering on whatsapp, and always kind and helpfull.

The tour was nice stone town for historian , we enjoyed narrative story from our guide who is very smart, patient, knowledgeble🙏 , prison island is nice to visit huge giant tortoise and nice beach to swim.
Thanks omy for our holiday in Zanzibar , I highly recommend.

An Amazing Experience with the Best Tour Company in Tanzania!

We booked a 5 day program with Kamal Destination Tours for Zanzibar. They took the time to tailor a program for StoneTown and Nungwi that allowed us to optimize our time, while including time to relax at the hotel.

Our guide Munta was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the country, every attraction and location we visited. We could not have been more impressed with his ability to explain the finer details of each spot. He made sure our young boys had a blast all the while covering historic sites that they may have otherwise found to be less than ideal.

We had some last minute changes and requests for our program and the company accommodated them without hesitation.

This was truly an incredible vacation and we couldn’t have asked for a better company to arrange our visit.

We highly recommend Kamal Destination Tours and Munta. We are already planning our next visit to Zanzibar and we look forward with using them again.

Absolutely wonderful time with Omar. Picked me up from my hotel and then we went to Prison Island, learned lots about the history and fed tortoises. Then Omar got to witness me *attempt* snorkeling which was a BLAST with great support. Be sure to bring your own wetsuit but he will provide flippers and snorkel mask. Then we stopped by my hotel for a change of clothes and then embarked to tour stone town. He knows the roads very well! And learned a lot about the history. Thank you Omar for a wonderful time!

Exellent tour for the historian , and new culture lovers, Omy the guide 🐐 ,he is very smart knowledgable and very informative was perfect for us , Prison island was good idea the giant tortoise is amaizing.
i highly reccomend this tour in zanzibar .we book through viator but our guide organize taxi for us .CIAO

We had a great experience with Omar and his team. We saw many nice places and really enjoyed our tour with Munta. He was very patient and shared a lot of history about stone town, Zanzibar and Tanzania with us. We went fishing, caught a few small ones and we had fun eating them.

Zanzibar is a place to visit and when you get to stone town, ask for Omar or Munta, they will make your stay a memorable one.

It was a tremendous experience!
Omer and his team were my guides throughout my time in Zanzibar, I traveled alone, but was never left or felt Alone.
They made every moment of my trip memorable!
I learnt a lot about Zanzibar and Tanzania in a very entertaining way, I memorized couple of sawahili words, and I felt like I was among my family.
When I come again, Omer will of course be my journey friend and I highly recommend acquiring their services!

Our guide, Omi, was very informative and willing to share history about Zanzibar.

The only word I have is AMAZING! We couldn’t of asked for a better tour guide. From start to finish Munta was so helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond.

My husband and I went on the stone island/prison island tour which is was so interesting and Munta took us to a delicious local restaurant. He also arranged the Zanzibar buggy tour which was an incredible day. As well as my husband enjoying the driving side we also stopped off at a local village, remote beaches and learnt so much about the island. We really wanted to see and do as much as possible and Munta helped us achieve this by planning out our days making sure we maximised our time.

As we were staying in the North he arranged one day to swim with the wild dolphins, visit Maalum cave, which was an unreal experience and we finished with a lovely late lunch at the famous Rock restaurant. Combining all three excursions meant it was alot more cost effective and we got see the other side of the island.

Munta arranged all of our taxis and it didn’t matter how near or far the trips were they were sorted. We also wanted to and experience some of the local clubs/ bars which Munta suggested really good places including the best local fresh seafood restaurants, Baraka. Munta was always on hand and contactable via whats app which was good if we need to ask him anything.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Munta enough, he made our time in Zanzibar so memorable.

I highly recommend omy tour guide while you are in Zanzibar, he is very flexible, knowledgeable. Passion, funny and charming guy kind of a guide any tourist could as for,
We have nakupenda tour, prison island trip , city tour , and all transfer he organized for me with reasonable price .

Wow. What a fabulous tour guide Munta is. He really did make our trip to Zanzibar as special as possible. He was so accommodating and helped us out with everything during our trip including taxis, island tours, restaurant and bar bookings etc. He will definitely ensure that you have the best holiday!
