Great tour of the city's sites- more than expected!

I had booked a car and driver- and we were delighted to have David, a great guide, for the day as well! We had been to the the Ice Festival the night before on our own, and with David we got to go to the Tiger Park (which was excellent), take the cool "ropeway" tram across the frozen river to the Russian Town living museum, go to the Jewish synagogues & museum, to the St. Sophia Church (also now a museum), see the "mini" Ice festival in town when the light came on at 6pm, enjoy Harbin's famous ice cream, and have a delicious lunch, too! The vehicle was excellent, and very welcome on a very cold day! David also took and sent us photos, which was wonderful. We Highly recommend him, and we will definitely use him again if we are lucky enough to get back to Harbin!
Xu has an acute sense of what you might want to do, finds interesting places to see and eat. He is just such a nice person, drives carefully and is always punctual and very flexible. During the time we spent with him it felt like being a family.
