Private Half-Day Tour to the Terracotta Army in Xi'an

For years, this trip has been a priority on my bucket list. Tina's expertise as a guide was impressive, demonstrating a deep understanding of the subject matter and going above and beyond to ensure our experience was outstanding. She arranged for our pickup and drop-off at the hotel, delivering an informative introduction to the Qin empire before our arrival. The tour commenced with a visit to the three pits featuring the excavated Terra-cotta warriors, proceeding to the Emperor's Tomb mound, bronze carriages, and a plethora of other fascinating relics from the Qin Empire.

Rosa was amazing, very experienced guide with extensive historical knowledge. This was the second time I have done this trip with Rosa, first by myself in 2020 and again with my wife and parents in 2024. I recommend experiencing the terracotta warriors and Xian with Rosa.

The tour was and our guide Linda was amazing. It was an interesting learning experience about an ancient culture and our guide gave us incredible details about the place and the history of the country.

I had a great tour with Rosa. She was ready and waiting at my hotel at least five minutes ahead of time. When booking the trip, I got confused with the options and by mistake did not book a pickup from the hotel. It was easy, though, to book a DiDi from my Alipay account.
Rosa gave lots of information during the ride and was a fount of knowledge in general. The scale of the terracotta warrior army is amazing to behold and I was very glad to be there with an expert and such a friendly one at that!

Linda is a nice tour guide, able to explain everything in detail and provide suggestions to make day trip more enjoyable.

The Terracotta Warriors are one of the most stunning sites with such a profound history.

Our tour guide Tina gave us a great tour and helped us understand such an incredible place with so much history. She was helpful in answering all our questions and was great to be around.

I recommend to go to Xi'An and visit the site, it helps you understand the rich history of China.

Yesterday we visited the Terracotta Army with Mary, a great guide & driver.

The tour was perfectly organised. She picked us up from hotel... was both our driver and guide for the tour.

You can tell she is proud of her heritage and proud of her city (Xi'an).

Good guide/drivers that speak very good English are hard to find in Xi'an. She is very pleasant to spend the tour with and very knowledgeable.

Amazing experience. Our guide Tina was fantastic. She picked us up at the hotel and told us the history on the way to the Museum. We decided to go early to avoid the crowds - something I highly recommend. It gets very crowded even by 9am. We loved hearing about the Terracotta Warriors and then as you walk in the first hall, you are wowed by the sight of so many at once. It is obviously a very "touristy" experience, but it was a must see with my mum and my aunt and our guide Tina made it even more memorable.

Highly recommend this tour, and can’t say enough great things about Rosa, our tour guide! We landed in Xi’an in the morning, and were able to customize our pick-up time at our hotel to fit the only afternoon we had open on our tight schedule. Rosa’s English was perfect and she did a wonderful job explaining the rich history of the city, the dynasties of the past, and the Terra Cotta warriors. Rosa’s storytelling really helped us to appreciate everything that we saw, and we were able to capture some incredible photos to keep the great memories for a lifetime.

The guide gives a good update of the history of China. She was very intuïtive. And we laughed a lot with her. Tina you are the best. Zhouhan the driver was very good aswell. The car was very luxuruous.

What we loved as well was that Tina gives us exact the right amount of information. And she asked also a lot. We loved it very much.

Our tour guide Kai was fantastic and had great knowledge on the warriors and every question we had regarding China and other facts.
The driver was efficient and on time and even stopped at a supermarket for us on route back to the hotel.
I really recommend this trip for anyone visiting, it’s definitely worth the money and experience.

This was a great experience. Our guide Cindy and the car driver picked us up at our hotel and we drove to the Terracota warriors location. She explained to us, in perfect English, about the first Emperor and his mausoleum as well as the army itself. She gave us all the info we needed about Xi'an and the geography around it. At the army site she showed us all the point of interest, told us the stories behind each figure and how they were found. Additionally she walked us through the background of their restoration and helped us take great photos to commemorate the event. Afterwards she arranged for us to create our own mini Terracota warriors which was so fun! Finally we drove back to our hotel in Xi'an where we concluded our day.

Tina did a great job explaining the terra cotta warriors and the different dynasties. Also got the hotel pickup, the driver was prompt and professional!
