Best of Bangalore Private Tour

The communication ahead of the tour was perfect. I was picked up by my driver at 8am from my hotel and we then met the lovely Navitha who was my tour guide for the day.

We visited the Bothanical Gardens, Bull’s Temple, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Palace and went to the market which was such a great experience. We travelled in the car between places and went at a very leisurely pace. Navitha was extremely knowledgeable and made sure she told me all the history of the places we visited.

We also went to a traiditional banana leaf lunch which was very delicious and included in the price of the tour.

We finished with what Navitha had planned for me early and since I mentioned to her that J would love to go to a church, she offered to take me to St Mary’s Church which was great experience.

I was safely dropped back at my hotel at 4pm.

Overall I would highly recommend this tour, it was very informative and great way to see The Best of Bangalore in a day!

The half day tour was perfect. Sushma took us to where the city originated and ended where the heart of the current government is. We saw so much and learned so much along the way. She is very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. We definitely will take another tour with her next time in town. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Deepti (along with driver Mahesh), was a gem! She met us at the hotel and even came out to greet us at the lobby. She took us to a famous dosa spot for a delish afternoon snack and at every stop her explanations were filled with so much knowledge and history. She took amazing photos of my friend and me and even shared some recommendations after the tour. A truly wonderful host that was patient with us walking in the crowded KR Market and made the tour so enjoyable because of how sweet and likeable she is. Happy we got the mini tour of the city!

Excellent tour, Sushma was a brilliant guide who give us a brief history of Bangalore whilst taking us to the Bull Temple, the KR market, Cubbon Park before ending the tour at Vidhana Soudha, explaining the sights and answering our questions along the way.

Both of us found the KR market the most fascinating part of the tour due to the hustle and bustle of the market traders with their customers, the making of the flower garlands in the flower market where individual petals are stringed by hand into different designs and colour ways. Whilst having to be mindful of motorbikes and the odd holy cow walking past!

Sushma also took us for some traditional Indian snacks which was delicious, that we are now keeping an eye out for on menus for the rest of our trip.

Would recommend this tour if you have half a day free in Bangalore and wanted to get a taste of the city.

We booked this tour in order to see some of Bengaluru without figuring out or own transportation. This was an excellent idea as the traffic around the city was definitely a challenge to navigate. Our tour guide and driver arrived right on time and got us started with some history of the city and the places we would see. We stopped at the Bull Temple and were given lots of history and even some context on the temple's importance in Hinduism. We sampled some south Indian snacks and coffee from a restaurant. It was great to go with a knowledgeable person to help us find a clean, safe place to try something delicious. We ventured to the original produce/flower market. The amount of fresh produce and flowers for sale was almost as overwhelming as the crush of people there! We drove over to the Parliament Building and walked a bit in Cubbon Park. The tour hit some great highlights, we learned a lot, got great pictures and enjoyed our air-conditioned ride. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bengaluru!

We enjoyed the tour a lot, our guide Navitha answered all our questions on Bengaluru and also general questions on life in India. We very much enjoyed that and learned a lot! We also had a very delicious meal! We only had a little problem in the beginning finding the correct meeting point, more precise communication could have been helpful. Furthermore, the market was very crowded that day which made walking around a little bit stressfull, so we would advice to do the tour on a weekday rather than a weekend.

During a work trip, I was able to fit in a half day tour of Bangalore city. The itinerary covered the must-see of Bangalore and the half day start/end time was based on my schedule. It was extremely easy to email Sushma (owner) about the logistics, details, etc. Our guide - Navitha - was simply the best! She provided a lot of background information about the history of Bangalore, details that only a local would know, answered questions about culture & current events, and plenty more!
