8-Hour Custom Private Tour of Bengaluru

It's even don't feel like we are in India ! Very devloped city with many monuments! People are friendly and my guide and driver was very nice and humble and lunch on the tour was very good Indian food !

The tour was well planned. The guide was helpful and had good knowledge.. suits best for solo passengers too. A suggestion is to start by 8 am instead of 9am..

Good tour even for solo travellers like me. Tourguide knows the place and the best spots to take pictures.

On 24.11 I was having a tour in Bangalore, and this was one of the worst tours I have ever done.

1. The guide spoke very unclear English, I would understand maybe 40% of what he was saying, and he couldn't answer almost any questions I was asking, since he was not understanding them.

2. The tour itself was pretty useless. The big part of excursion was: "This is a five star hotel. This is another five star hotel. And this is a college for rich people." I have not gotten almost any information about the city's history, no idea, how it has become the IT Hub of India, nothing at all. And the small pieces of information he was giving, he was repeating over and over again.

3. The guide was extreamly unpolite. In the middle of the tour inside park he would just pick up his phone without excusing himself and start talking for five minutes, letting me just stay in the heat, not understanding what's going on.

4. The worst part was lunch. Without asking me what I would prefer to have, he took me to the hotel that he has chosen, then he has joined me without bothering to ask, what I think about it, then tried to force me to order what he wanted, and after I have done my order, he has just eaten more than a half of my food. I mean, he even poured the half of my tea in his cup, and of course let me pay for it. Considering the fact he was all the time talking about his son studying in Australia and the cost of the tour (it's 120 euros, pretty expensive I think!), I really didn't feel like I had to pay for him.

5. Not only excursion was useless, he also took me to three different shops, even when I openly said, that I just want to go to the hotel after this "amazing" experience.

During the whole day I was feeling just like everybody is trying to scam me and get as much money as possible, and since I was travelling alone, I was feeling really unsave trying to argue and several times was considering just to call the cab from hotel and get back there.

The only good point was the driver. He was very nice and driving calmly, the car was clean and in perfect condition.

But I really not recommend this tour to anybody, and hope the company will change the way they look at the tourist, because it has given in the end very bad impression of the city that doesn't deserve it.

Better to use GRAB if you are tourist. Tricycle driver cost you a lot. So better to use GRAB applications.
Be careful also to tricycle driver offer you tour they are scammers.

I was not very satisfied with this tour, because it was not as customizable as advertised. The tour guide already had a set agenda of the things he wanted to show me and didn't even ask what I was interested in at the start of the tour before reciting history facts as we drove through the city. When I expressed that I was more interested in shopping and wanted his help with bartering, he did take me to a couple of stores but dropped me at the door to fend for myself. Also, he dropped me off at a 45 minute tour of the botanical gardens, which was not in English, and did not join me, so I had no idea what was going on.Finally, he ended the tour 2 hours early after telling me I had seen everything there is to see in Bangalore. I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the driver was great, and the tour did allow me to see most of the city's main sights safely.

<p>I booked this tour and Shama was my tour guide. She was excellent and was explaining all the main statues and buildings in the city as we were on our way to the temples, museums and palace. She explained the city's history and reasoning behind the city's name. She was able to accommodate the tour to my preferences. Shama went above and beyond to deliver. She was very kind to even do henna painting on my hands as I could not find a place to have it done. She was excellent.</p>

<p>This trip is very interesting and informative. The tour guide is knowledgeable about the city and shared many history, cultural, and anecdotal stories at each scenery place. He was able to tailor and customize the trip to my interest, and visited all the spots that I'd like to cover. Bengaluru traffic is very congested, especially during the rush hours. It took us over an extra hour to get back to the hotel I was staying. Both the tour guide and the driver were very flexible and accommodating. I absolutely had wonderful experiences and would highly recommend the tour, for anyone who'd like to have customized and in-depth tour of the city.</p>

<p>The tour of Bengaluru was great. I was picked up at my hotel on time and driven around the crazy streets of Bengaluru by a great driver. The guide Shama Sadiq was very knowledgeable regarding all of the places we visited. It was great having her to point out places of interest and answer all my questions. She also facilitated entrance into the places which made the visits easier. She also made me aware of many local customs so I would not unintentionally offend anyone. I highly recommend Shama Sadiq as a local tour guide.</p>
