We will be walking down the oldest area in Bangalore where the city came to life in the 16th century. This place has several fascinating stories intertwined in its narrow streets and old buildings. Alongside looking at several points of interest that lend this place its rustic charm we will also: - Have coffee from a mobile van, where you get introduced to the area and the culture of people here. - We proceed to see and hear a fascinating story of an English Missionary who built the first church in this area, the oldest in this part of town. - This tour will take you to another old building which was a crucial location for the reserve police to disperse the mob during the Quit India movement in the 1940's. - Listen to the story of how Bangalore came to life at the very founding corner laid by the founder Kempegowda.

Thank you for this tour! What an amazing way to experience a little bit of the history, culture, and character, of this fantastic city, couple of its neighborhoods, and also two of its beautiful and historic temples. Navitha was a fantastic host and guide for my tour and I thoroughly enjoyed the time and conversation with her. From the time spent with her for a quick bite at the historic Vidyarthi Bhavan - which was delicious - to the amazing and informative background and perspectives she offered as we strolled through that part of the city and then on to two temples, I learned a great deal about this community and its rich heritage as well as some general knowledge about India as a whole. I would highly recommend this tour, this tour agency, and Navitha in particular! John Sneed, USA, Tennessee
Basavanagudi walking tour with Bull temple

We took the Basavanagudi walking tour with Bull temple. Our tour guide was Navitha, she was friendly and informative. I really enjoyed the tour and all the sites we visited, we started at the flower market then onto the Bull temple walking through the gardens where the Fruit bats were flying around in the trees. We then went for breakfast at Vidyarthi Bhavan, a very popular restaurant with wonderful vegetarian food, an enjoyable experience. We walked to the next temple, Sri Gavi the cave temple. So glad we choose the tour it was amazing to see parts of Bangalore that we usually won’t get to experience. Navitha was an excellent guide and really helped to make our experience special
