Nao was a very friendly, energetic, enthusiastic and caring tour guide.
He is fluent in both Japanese and English.

He helped me look for a very budget friendly laptop at a reputable store. He helped translate everything with the store reps.

We did many iconic activities in Akihabara such as arcades, maid cafes and anime related stores. He gave useful tips for winning at the claw machines. I was glad to have him at the maid cafe as he helped translate everything the maids were saying!

He took so many photos of me with anime-related places!
I would definitely book him again!!

This tour was phenomenal! I am a huge anime and manga fan, and Nao took us to the finest stores, that had the best selection of Anime, manga and other related products. Nao was such a great guide, he was kind, flexible, and he really cared about sharing his love of Akihabara. Going to the Maid Cafe was a fun bonus. Overall, I would do this tour again and highly suggest Nao as their guide.

Nao was an amazing tour guide. He showed up several places in Akihabara that we didn't know existed and spent the time to give us the historical context behind everything. We would absolutely recommend him and if we come back to Japan, we will be booking with him again!

I had so much fun exploring through Aki with Nao and visiting all of the shops. It felt like an outing with a friend instead of a guide as we explored the streets looking for deals on souvenirs and Otaku swag. Nao took his time and I never felt rushed as we explored the shrines and various shops throughout Aki. I would honestly go on the tour again just to continue to explore as the many different shops and stalls are sure to have more fun things to see and buy. Nao was an expert at navigating the area and took the time to point out which shops and items had the best deals so I definitely got the best value for my time with a tailored tour for myself. 5 stars would tour again.

Nao really took the time to make sure my teens and I had an interesting time at our Akihabara tour. As my kids weren't completely obsessed with anime, he found other places of interest and gave advice on what arcade game centres and claw machine centres were good. He found places where my kids could check out and buy figurines that they were interested in. he was very generous with his time and even gave the teens some gifts at the end. A great bonus was that he took photos of all of us together which I find hard to get when I'm travelling.

Punctual. Took us steady though Akhabara with shrines and shopping. Told us history of shrines that I didnt know before. Since we all were reasonable interested in anime, he conected the lines of what is seen in some anime and the history behind the shrines. I would say he did well with my teenager and me. Managed to keep dialog with us both. He stayed with us for longer than plan ed. He is a photographer as well, and was kind to take pictures os us with his camera and give them to us. Thank you

Wonderful experience and highlight of our stay in Tokyo. Nao was an excellent guide. Great English and enjoyed the cultural lessons at the shrines and my teen boys loved visiting the anime/manga/game stores. We were able to purchase game art books that we can’t find in the US and other great items. Had fun playing retro games at an arcade and enjoyed yummy Ramen. Would definitely recommend!

While on our family vacation in Japan, my two boys (pre-teen and early teen) and I wanted to experience Akihabara based on our interest in Japanese history, food, and culture including games, anime, and electronics. Nao did an absolutely fabulous job of soliciting our interests and then designing a tour experience tailored to our family that exceeded our expectations. We spent time everywhere from the Willow Forest Shrine (learning a tremendous amount about Shinto practices that we used for the rest of our trip in Japan) to shops, arcades, and more. We had a blast playing retro games, jamming in the arcade as a rock band, and checking out fun items in stores. My boys were thrilled to be able to collect some Japanese Pokemon and Magic cards at a great value due to Nao’s knowledge. Nao also went way above and beyond to ensure I was able to find and purchase a Japan-only board game I was looking for. Thank you Nao for a great experience and for being such a friendly and thoughtful host!

Had a great time with Nao! He tailored our time in Akihabara to my daughters interests. He was able to connect with my teen through manga and find places that interested her. I would tour again with Nao.

This tour was a gift to my 12 year old son. He had a great time. The guide was fun and flexible. We had plenty of time. Later we continued the research on our own. I recommend it to families with teenage children! My son was very happy.

Great tour. Nao was a fantastic guide. He listened to what we wanted to see and focused on getting us to the best spots.

Nao was a friendly and very knowledgeable tour guide of the Akihabarze area of Tokyo. On this tour he took us to sites that were historical, spiritual, cultural, and unique local spots as well. There was so much my wife and I enjoyed learning from Nao about interesting historic and cultural sites, but also our teen and pre-teen kids had a great time talking to Nao and going to places related to Anime, etc. If you want to get a real feel for an area of Tokyo, this is a tour you will love!

Nao was very nice and helpful. He did not rush us and was eager to ensure we had a good tour.

Our group was most interested in the Anime, Videogame aspects and less so of the historical stuff for this particular occasion and Nao helped change things up to accommodate.

We also had young children and appreciated Nao’s patience and kindness.

It was my 9 yr old grandson’s wish to come to Japan where Anime and Pokemon originated from and Nao helped in showing us just that. So awesome!!!

I booked this last minute and it ended up being one of my favourite memories! Walking around with a local was super fun, we were able to dive into the local culture, do lots of shopping! Highly recommended

Amazing!! Very friendly and great experience! Great introduction into Akihabara! We were shown many locations we would not have found without this tour, We learned alot about the history of the area. We visited many locations from shines to retro gaming store's. The photos taken by the guide were great.

We were exhausted from travelling 18 hours and we still thoroughly enjoyed this tour!
