Great Malacca Tour
2023-11-07
I took a solo trip Ayyanar as a guide, and a second guide who was in training. Was well taken care of. We did the river cruise (highly recommended), I took a brief trishaw ride with a local guy who told me some more history of the city, did a walking tour of the couple blocks that make up the core of the historic area, and we at at a local restaurant (only tourist in the place) for the famous local dish: chicken with rice balls. The only caution to be aware of: it is a 1 hour, 45 minute trip each way to Malacca from KL, so although the tour is set at 8 hours you really only have about 4 hours in Malacca itself. I thought this was plenty of time anyway.
Very good choice
