What You Will Do
Samsara Trekking offers a day of birding-hike in Nagarjun, Shivapuri National Park, Phulchoki Protected Forest, Champadevi Hills, Sankhu, Sundarijal, Suryabinayak Forest, and Manohara in the Kathmandu Valley throughout the year. The hike, can also, cover spiritual sites; provides spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayan range to the north, as well as a bird’s-eye view of the Kathmandu Valley with its terraced fields. The Birders will gain insight into the everyday lives of the locals. The abundance of flora and fauna, along with rare bird species, highlights the experience. This mindful birding hike is recommended for families with kids and school students. The day birding hike is organized upon request, seven days a week.

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park
The national park is one of the important bird and biodiversity area where over 311 species of birds inhabit including 117 species of migratory birds. Only endemic bird of Nepal, Spiny Babbler, can be sighted in this area. The trails in this hill forest are best known for the sound of the birds and leaves.
