Intramuros Sunset Tours by Bambike

Booked this through Tripadvisor. Meet up point just by Barbaras restaurant. You got to choose your bike. Camille is very good as our tour guide. Her team made up of a few people made sure that we cross streets of intramuros safely. Im so glad i booked this as we get to see old manila. If you’re cycling is not your cup of tea you can hire someone on a tok-tok on this tour. Be careful of uneven pavements and cobbled stones in some areas. Finally you get to see a 360 degree view of manila on top of a hotel restaurant with sunset views. Dont forget to book yourself for a dinner buffet at Barbaras which was lovely and also be at the restaurant at 7pm to see the cultural show. Overall, excellent experience.

This trip was excellent. John our guide was very knowledgeable and really lovely to my sister who was nervous about cycling on the roads. The balance of cycling and sites was perfect for us. We then got the best seats in the house at the Bayleaf and watched an amazing sunset. Great trip and a fantastic social enterprise in Manila.

Loved it! We arrived early in the morning in Manila and were afraid to be too exhausted for the biking, but wanted to stay awake to overcome Jetlag. It was a perfect first day in the Philippines!

My favorite part was learning the long history of Intermuros and seeing the amazing ruins and rebuild areas in the walled city. Our guide was knowledable without sounding memorized. He was fun and friendly

This was a great and fun outing. JoJo was engaging and very informative. I heartily recommend this outing as a great way to see the walled city and learn about the history of Manila.

But u need to be experienced to ride in traffic on the roads and amongst pedestrians in some stretches. I wasn’t and they let me do it in a bamboo pedicab. The guide, Angelica, is a history major and I thoroughly enjoyed her informative background to the intramuros story.

We ended the tour with complimentary ice cream at the next door cafe. True to their ethos of ecological preservation, they gave us refillable aluminium bottles for water.

My friends from Korea loved it! The tour guide was informative and really knowledgeable in Philippine History.

Thanks so much to Bamboo bikes for a lovely way to explore the old town. Our guide Cedi shared the history of the area and especially enjoyed the dinner afterwards at the famous traditional restaurant Barbaras. I felt very safe riding around, as the traffic is minimal, not like you see in the other roads around Manila. Plus Bambikes do supply bike helmets if you want them.

I never knew cycling could be this fun and interesting! The Bambike tour around Intramuros, the quaint walled city of Manila, is still one of my best travel experiences so far!

Our guide, Pablo, is absolutely amazing. He is humorous, entertaining and has so many facts at the tip of his fingers. Pablo brings all the facts to live and also brings in his personal views which makes it even more interesting. He readily answers our questions and is always eager to help take pictures at the best angles so as to capture the best memories.

More than the free stylish aluminium bottle with cold refreshing drinking water, we also had delicious ice-cream with local Filipino favorite flavors to end off the entire trip! Having Pablo as a tour guide just sums up the whole experience as a five-star!

Would definitely want to bring friends here again to experience this!

Although it rained and the sunset was not there, it was a pleasant ride, even exclusively as no one else showed up. definitely recommendable!

Such a great way to see Intramurous! My guide, JoJo, was very knowledgeable and also helped us take photos along the way.

I actually left my bag at their offices and they went above and beyond to ensure that I got my bag back (especially considering how far I would need to drive to get to and from their offices). Thank you Miguel and JoJo!

P.S. It was also a bonus to know that we were supporting a worthy cause and helping out the local community.

Very well planned and structured trip around the Intramuros vicinity.
The duration was just nice.
The bamboo bikes were surprisingly easy to cycle on and very light to peddle.
I highly recommend this eco-friendly and sustainable tour agency to anyone who wishes to explore more of historical manila and her spanish roots :)

The Sunset Tour was super duper nice!!! I'm a local and is looking for something new in Intramuros, and this tour is perfect. Our guide Bo was very good, the itinerary went smooth, and biking around Intramuros during the weekend is such a breeze. Definitely a must try!!!

After hearing from friends and colleagues that Manila wasn't a nice place to visit, my expectations were not very high. The Bambike Sunset Tour was my first stop, shortly after arrival in Manila and I cannot express how refreshing it was to be greeted by friendly, smiling faces, a positive attitude and to have such a wonderful time. The tour guide was excellent, very informative and insightful and made the experience fun! Thanks Jojo!

In terms of the tour itself, it had just the right amount of riding and time to stop and take in the sights. I hope to return one day and will absolutely go back to Bambike!
