What You Will Do
Gastro Tour Seoul takes adults to visit a true artisan Korean Brew Master's workshop. With food and drinks included, you'll be introduced to quality Korean traditional alcohol as Soju(distillation alcohol), Takju(the original form liquor for Makgeolli), Makgeolli and Yakju(rice-brewed wine) from this local brewer.
You'll have the opportunity to learn about the entire process of turning rice into Soju and Takju(Makgeolli) and you'll venture deep into the heart of Korean alcohol culture as you explore this hidden brewery known only to the true locals.
This 2.5-hour-long tour will introduce you to master artisans who brew and distill according to time-honored methods. The tasting sessions are followed by a traditional homemade Korean lunch or dinner served together with bowls of Makgeolli.
This tour introduces Korean Traditional Hospitality when guests visit my place. We serve guests homemade meals and home-brewed alcohol together.

Highly recommended, interesting and delicious

We (a couple) had an awesome experience, even with just two people. Our guide,Veronica, was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. The masterbrewer was similarly cool and served us delicious traditional rice wine. The food at the end is incredible and not to be missed. Great to eat food from a different part of Korea. Highly recommend!
Absolutely perfect Korean hospitality!

This tour was an absolutely incredible experience. Veronica was the most perfect guide who taught us so much about Seoul's history and Korean culture. My partner and I are both Koreaboos and having such a personalised, casual but respectful experience was truly a joy. The traditional alcohols and the stories that accompanied the tastings was just so special and the dinner afterwards was sumptuous and such a wonderful time. Veronica was extremely respectful of my accessibility needs and checked in with me in such an empathetic, caring way. It was GREATLY appreciated and I am so sorry this review has taken so long to post!
Will definitely be booking with Veronica the next time we are in Seoul!
