Izmir City Tour

Had a great time on this tour with Elcin. She was very knowledgeable and great at explaining the history of the different places around Izmir. Would definitely recommend.

Very well guided walk thru Izmir. We learnt a lot about daily life, habits and traditions. Our guide Alperen well explained history, architecture . Very entertaining, useful advices how to move in the city, where to eat and chill. Thank you!

Outstanding Izmir city tour with Elcin. We visited the Asansor elevator, Agora market, and the clock tower. Elcin is very personable with excellent English and engaging descriptions of the sites and their history. She took us to a traditional Turkish lunch and help order the food - delicious. We had an outstanding experience with Elcin and loved Izmir.

All four of us enjoyed the entire tour with Elcin as our guide. Some of us enjoyed the tour of ancient Smyrna and others enjoyed the market place tour the most. Our guide, Elcin, was both knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed an authentic Turkish lunch at a local restaurant in the market and had time to shop for any items we wanted. A great tour with a great guide!

Not even sure where to begin. Selim was amazing! We met at the Clocktower, which was a few minutes walk from our hotel. We spent 5 amazing hours walking around this fabulous city! Selim did not miss one thing and gave us quite a few wonderful recommendations to make it an absolutely perfect day!

This was an incredible tour. Some walking while not too much even for our advanced age. Our tour guide Elçin was exceptional with 18 years experience and a native of Izmir. Extremely educational tour while also a fun time.

Nothing was good about this tour. What was included, like Tram ride, never took place. Put it this way, there's no need to take a tour. Just read from the Google the history of places to visit, and take a taxi. You will understand more and save a lot. By the way, that's exactly what our tour guide was doing - taxi rides! Izmir is a great place for Tour, but please don't spoil you fun and waste money on this - Oh, it was a terrible experience!

My husband and I had a walking tour of Izmir with Erman Uslu. He was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to spend nearly 4 hours with. Not only did he give us a lot of historical background on all sites he brought us to, he was able to answer our random questions. Further, he helped us understand the difference between actual Turkish knotted rugs and woven rugs - he even helped us determine a good price! He also gave us recommendations for where to find a nice lunch! I’d highly recommend a tour with Erman to see and learn all about Izmir.

The itinerary arranged for these two days is very good. I saw many local buildings in the past that are quite distinctive. I was also lucky that it snowed. It is really beautiful!

I took this toor with Elcin. Well prepared, she introduced me to the magic Izmir city.
She come punctually, very pleasent and educated person.
I loved a lot Bazar old area, Elcin introduced me to see this gorgeous old side.

The Izmir tour was fantastic! We had Erman Uslu as our tour guide again (he did our Pamukkale tour as well) and was obviously amazing again. We were lucky to get a private tour with him which made the experience even better as it felt like a friend hanging out with us throughout the city rather than a normal tour guide. Enjoyed this one as it wasn’t too long and had amazing views of the city. 100% recommend this tour, especially with Erman Uslu.

On September 12th 2022 myself, husband and friends had a wonderful experience in Izmir Turkey with Yalquin Aydin (hope I'm spelling it correctly) . . . he was very knowledgeable, flexible and very personable. Yalquin loves his country and is proud to show it off. I would highly recommend this tour with Yalquin.

Our experience may have been better with a different guide. Ours was extremely tired, falling asleep on his seat and smoking frequently just to stay awake. He only spoke the minimum necessary just to get through. On the other hand, there is a lot to see and enjoy in Izmir.

We enjoyed our private tour very much. Our guide Gokhan was very knowledgeable and fluent in French. He gave us an history course and a peek into the Turkish mind along the way.

Our guide Nazim was our favorite part. That’s because he was personable, extremely knowledgeable and well organized. He made Izmir feel like home. Mr John was a superb driver. We got to visit so much - from the mountains to the seaside. Visiting the Clock Tower and the markets and riding the elevator and eating sweets and lunch and walking and walking. Wow. Could not have been better. We gave it a 10 out of 10. Don’t miss this if you are lucky to visit Izmir.
