Motorbike Food Tour in Chiang Mai

This has been the best thing we we’ve done in Thailand so far! We thought about a cooking class, but this was so much better. We learned about and tasted a variety of foods that we would not have tried if we did a cooking class. The guides also gave us information about the history and culture of the area to set things in context.
And moving to different parts of the city for each stop let us see the different areas and landmarks.
The guides were not only knowledgeable but also super fun - great senses of humour.

Just Love Experience are a small business run by husband and wife, Pek and Taura. They employ a small team of local students as guides and drivers. My wife and I enjoyed 2 fabulous experiences with them. First the Motor bike Food Tour. We were driven as pillion passengers by our guides Kim and Tee along with Pek. An exciting experience in itself as we are not expert motorcyclists!! We were taken to local food establishments, 6 in all, where were able to enjoy their food and learn the local culture from our guides. It was a truly memorable evening which I can highly recommend. Pek, Kim and Tee were excellent guides and we learnt a lot about the local community.
Our 2nd experience was a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary and rafting. We were accompanied by Pek and Alex. We were able to feed the elephants and bathe them in river. It was a remarkable experience to get so close to these magnificent creatures. The staff at the Sanctuary gave us a great insight into how the elephants behave. After a splendid lunch we were off to the river to board our bamboo raft. My wife and I plus Alex were expertly navigated down the river by on of the locals. Again a great experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed both our days with Love Experience. We can't recommend them highly enough.

We had the best time with Taura, Pek, Kim, and the team of Just Love Experience during our time in Chiangmai. We were traveling with our family of 8 including my parents (mid-70s) and our kids and they made this food tour (and other experiences) suit the full family. We loved getting their take on this beautiful city!

6 stop 4.5 hour food tour of Chiang mai with @justloveexperiencetour . These guys are the real deal in terms of ethical tourism. They knowledge and level of detail that they share. The conscious decisions of where they buy food and drinks to ensure support to small local business. The university students who drive the bikes wanting to practice their English. I hadn't factored for great conversation around the table, this was such a bonus.
I cannot recommend them enough. Every mouthful was exceptional and just the best version of anything I've tasted before in Thai cuisine. The lessons on culture and ingredients were fascinating. So full and so happy. Such a great way to explore the city

This was an unforgettable experience. We toured the city with two locals who took us to amazing restaurants where we got to enjoy authentic food dining with the local folk. Our guide Kym was very knowledgeable, she discussed the local sites and customs with us. We also had a trip around a local wholesale market where we saw all the provincial products for sale. At the end of the trip our guide and drivers took us right back to the door of our hotel. We would highly recommend this tour. The food was delicious, the sights fantastic, the market totally awesome and the company was just splendid.

New business, very enthusiastic and keen to please. Took us to some great food stops off the beaten track and it was really fun seeing Chang Mai by motorbike. The company takes on local university students to help them to develop their English language skills and to share their local knowledge. It is great to recipe and we recommend their services.

Absolutely loved our time on the Just Love Experience motor bike tour. Pek and Taura have curated a unique food experience injected with local knowledge and culture. I really enjoyed trying ever dish! Some a bit challenging but that’s the joy of travel. The team is great fun, really enjoyed the conversations while riding and at each stop. Recommend. Child friendly.

From the start to finish the tour was excellent. The team that took us on the tour were brilliant. If you’re looking to try authentic Thai cuisine then this is a must! We travelled out of areas that we would not have visited we learnt about the culture history and the food. This was our first time doing a food tour in Thailand and we would recommend them. They have videos on YouTube which will add to this review. Overall great night with some great people.

We went on this tour as a family when visiting Chiang Mai. Huge fun riding scooters to visit local food vendors and try local food. It was a real education and we learnt a lot.

A standout for me was the dessert place. That's unusual because I don't usually go for desserts over savoury. I said to one of the tour guides, just pick for me and he picked options that I wouldn't have picked or known what they were.

Also suitable for children. Our grandson is 9 and he really enjoyed it too.

So much fun!! This is a must-try! I'm a local and I can tell that they showed us real local food/vibes. They provide English speaking tour guide too.

What an incredible and unique experience! The team was very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic with the children. The food was amazing, the insights into the authentic culture and food, rivalled by none! Most definitely recommend trying this out.

We had such a great evening with the awesome trio from the Just Love Experience. We became fast friends with Pek, Kim, & Phumin. It was really like hanging out with friends, even though we just met. They were so much fun to be with. Yet, we also learned so much about Thai cuisine and culture.

The evening included six amazing locations. We got to eat delicious Thai food at each location. Learning about the ingredients, spices, & flavors of Thai cuisine, along the way. By the end of the evening, our bellies were full of deliciousness😋

The name “just love” truly fits the evening. We just loved every minute of it. The best part of traveling is meeting the people along the way. Thank you Pek, Kim, and Phumin for the just love experience❤️🇹🇭

What an amazing experience, a great way to fully immerse yourself in Thai culture and cuisine.
The team (Pek, Kim & Phoo) were friendly, courteous and considerate, the teams priority was our enjoyment and entertainment which was all conducted in safe environments as well as our safe transport on the back of our guides scooters to all our wonderful local restaurants and street food vendors locations. Now, I sound very formal here so let’s cut to the chase. Our Evening out with Just Love experience was like going out with friends, we talked about our cultures and lives and experiences and just like friends we did this over food in some of the most wonderful eateries in the city, we tried many of the regions dishes from local restaurants and street food vendors, we probably wouldn’t have tried half of the dishes on our own, but with J❤️E we felt confident in their recommendations and with their relationships with the vendors. I was paired with Phoo who taught me so much about his culture and his life in Chiang Mai, THANK You Phoo! I’ve learnt so much from you and I’m feel so privileged to have you share so much about your life.
If you haven’t planned anything to do in the city yet put this at the top of your list, you will not regret this experience.
