What You Will Do

Jungle Kitchen cooking classes take you back to times where food was prepared and cooked using handmade tools and old-style techniques. Guests cook at our 8 metre long cooking station with the sounds of nature and panoramic views of Koh Phangan. The ethos of the class is to keep alive knowledge of traditional cooking methods and to use the same tools and techniques which were widely used in a Thai kitchen over 50 years and more ago.

What a fantastic night. Tom and Lynne are amazing hosts and our fellow travellers were great too. We cooked three amazing dishes which we savoured the night after as well. Good food and company and tips for cooking at home too.
Amazing tour and a nice option for an evening.

I highly recommend this class , first the site provides beautiful views as the house sits on a mountain side. . We were picked up at fisherman’s village, welcomed with a refreshing drink once we got to the house . The hosts were great, we picked up some herbs in the garden and were fortunate to be able to pretty much decide on the menu beforehand. Lyn guided us through the whole process as Tom took plenty of pictures of us . The pictures were just amazing and will be great for memories as this was one of our best tours in Thailand. We made Thai pad , Tom yum soup with the best prawns I’ve ever eaten here and massaman curry chicken. We ate way too much food but had the option of bringing it back with us . We appreciated that it was a late afternoon class as food was ready for dinner !!

This proved to be a deeply engaging and genuine experience. My spouse and I visited twice, and on both occasions, we had a fantastic time. All the food comes directly from their own farm and garden, and you even have the opportunity to tour the farm! Linn is the main host, and her husband Tom supplements the experience with interesting cultural and historical insights. It's an experience that should not be overlooked if you're traveling to Koh Samui.
