Alex were an outstanding travel planner, and a pioneer tour guide. I had a great experience overall. It was an ease of mind visiting vietnam with Alex's professional assistance. Just gave him the amount of time frame and what you like to do; He will tailor to your desire travellings. In my case I only had 7 days, and want a quick preview of whole vietnam. Alex planned flawlessly from the south to north, and even the central of vietnam. The whole vietnam were all covered with his resourceful and knowledgeable teams. Alex is very well network. The minute I landed vietnam, there's driver picking me up and drop off! At no time I have to deal with any form of transportation. At any given time, Alex and the team are there to answer any questions, and keep me up to date. They are very attentively, and follow throughout the trip til the end, where ylI reached the airport heading home.

Alex is polite, personable and speaks English very well. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Hanoi and at all the places we visited he could easily answer any questions. Alex was flexible with our timetable and ensured we were able to visit the city sights that we were interested in. Highly recommend this tour.

There is so much more to Hanoi than meets the eye, or the tourists eye on a map of the city.
Our guide Alex was fantastic! His knowledge and the background details he provided along the way made the locations and historic sites speak.
From our hotel in the Old Quarter we went to the complex of Ho Chi Minh, or as the locals will say 'Uncle Ho'. We learnt a lot about his later life and how he lived.
Next, coffee. Don't be scared. Try something.
Then we went to the Temple of Literature and learnt how difficult it was to study here back in the day and how the ancient teachings affected the students lives.
Next lunch, traditional Vietnamese style with rice and a lot of different portions, either of meat or vegetables and soup or dipping sauces. My husband and I both enjoyed our meal.
We then went to Hoa Lu Prison or the 'Hanoi Hilton and saw the conflicts including the Vietnam War from the Vietnamese perspective.
Then we chose to add in train Street where on a very hot and humid day, we could enjoy a cold beverage and be blown away by the close proximity of the local train travelling though.
Then Alex took us to the Women's Museum. What a wonderfully curated museum. The lives of the local women over the years have been celebrated beautifully.
After a long day, in which we learnt so much, we were dropped back at our hotel.
Thank you so much Alex for colouring in for us the picture of Vietnamese history. It will be unforgettable.

Alex tailor made a special program for us, including luxury transfer, meet & greet at the airport (!), lunch at Divas Restaurant - Capella Restaurant, visit to Hanoi`s slum area, Long Bien Bridge, coffee and meet up with the manager at Cafe Hidden Gem. The group had many interesting and valuable discussion with both Alex and his companion and gained great insight into Vietnam life.

Our day with Alex was fantastic! We only had one day in Hanoi and thankfully we trusted Alex to show us around. He took us to the Presidential Palace, Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, and Hoa Lo prison ("Hanoi Hilton"), with stops for Vietnamese coffee and a great lunch at a local restaurant. Alex taught us a lot about the city and country and was patient with our questions. I would 100% recommend spending the day with him in Hanoi.

We had one of the best guided Tours with "Alex" on our whole trip through Vietnam (4 weeks). He took care of our wellbeing, provided us with a lot of interesting information about Hanoi and Vietnam in general AND we can still remember almost all of them. He made something often boring (tourist tours) damn memorable. Xin cảm ơn. :)

Alex was just an incredible, knowledgeable and kind guide. As I was travelling solo we did the tour in his koror bike which is a brilliant way to experience all the main sights of Hanoi. Alex’s knowledge of the history and culture of the city was brilliant but the best part was just being with someone to understand how locals live, think and exist - priceless. Alex took me to some hidden gems (coffee and vegan food) as well as gave me lots of inside tips! The booking process was seamless and he was punctual, attentive and respectful of giving time to take photos and absorb as needed. I highly recommend Alex as a tour guide for Hanoi. With just one day to experience Hanoi, our guide Alex provided a fantastic tour of the main historical and cultural sites, plus some amazing street food and the opportunity to sample some local egg coffee and iced coffee. Alex is not only highly articulate and knowledgeable but is a lovely guy who went the extra mile for us after our day tour by helping us to book the next leg of our Vietnam tour. The tour with Alex was amazing from beginning to end! He picked me up from my hotel and we had a really fun day starting with a delicious lunch in the Old Quarter, which catered to my diet (thank you!) Then explored the French Quarter, tried coffee at a lovely off-the-beaten-track café, then off on an epic scooter ride including going over the river and visiting a temple. Finally just in time watching the train go past and loads of photo opportunities! Alex was a superb host, very good at making me feel at ease, full of knowledge and anecdotes and a very good driver - the experience overall was unforgettable. Very highly recommended!

The competence, flexibility and friendliness of our guides, Hải yan and Alex, were superb. Also the transfer they arranged from the airport was very convenient. They spoke English very well and arranged good restaurants to meet our tastes.

Firstly let me say. Our tour guide for tge day was Alex (Bach le) and from the initial contact he was nothing less than incredible. His introduction via email was exactly what my partner and I were looking for. On the day of tge tour he showed us incredible food locations which were specific points of service with a deal of cultural meaning. From the morning soup to coffee and baoe bun and also amazing deserts. Wow. Then it came to the tour. He was very specific and gave us a cultural experience of the old market area, prison (hotel hilton) and the temple. His knowledge and deliverance was exceptional. Then came the train street experience. Just perfect. His English was exceptional and his passion to show his city perfect. Cannot praise him and the tour enough. Thanks Alex for a complete experience.

My family and I had a wonderful trip to Hanoi that would not have been possible without Alex's amazing help, suggestions, and presence. Alex showed us the best places to visit, eat, and drink in Hanoi while sharing all about Vietnam, its culture, and history. Furthermore, he assisted us in booking the best trips outside of Hanoi. We went on a 2-day cruise in Ha Long Bay, explored the beautiful mountains in Sa Pa, and visited temples in Hoa Lu. We highly recommend his service as he supported us in every way we could have imagined and was extremely flexible in accommodating everyone's needs (which is definitely not easy with a family of six).

Also, he is a very kind and friendly person to have around and we had loads of fun together!

I had one day in Hanoi when transiting between London and Sydney. Alex showed me around the city - and it’s restaurants! He is a warm, knowledgeable, interesting and friendly guide who made my visit a pleasure! I had a great day and got to understand the vibrant city he loves! He was flexible to my aims while offering insightful suggestions.

We had an excellent evening with Alex, and couldn’t be happier. We had spent two days looking for good local eats by recommendations of different hotel concierges, and were very disappointed. Then I happened to find Alex online, and he was exactly what we were looking for. We were hoping to find unique local dishes that we can’t get back home. I’m a chef so Alex felt extra pressure! He customized the evening for my friend and I, enabling us to try some unique and interesting local dishes. His English is great, and he has a great personality and sense of humor, so the evening went by smoothly and with good conversation. I’m so glad that we had Alex to take us around, if you’re a foodie I highly recommend him!

We really enjoyed your Street food tour with Alex in Hanoi. He picked us up from the hotel and walked us from one delightful meal to the next. He also is amazing in giving tips about all of Vietnam and is happy to share his knowledge. His english is fantastic and he brings a great energy too. We had a great day out with Alex. He curated the trip for us and made sure each of us took something away from it.
We visited Ho Chi Minh complex, temple of literature and Haolo Prison. He is extremely knowledgeable and finds nice ways to bring ooo culture references for us to remember things. Once he understood what we wanted to eat, he took us to an amazing restaurant and ordered some excellent food. Highly recommend this tour with Alex
