Not only is the silk village the only location with valuable genetic sources of mulberry, it also preserves the handmade silk weaving method from the Champa Dai Viet era.

Hoi An Silk Village
45 minutes
Enjoy a welcome drink. We will visit the traditional house in Quang Nam and listen to the story of craft sericulture there. Next, we will visit the ancient mulberry gardens and the silkworm breeding house, and how to feed the silkworms. Visit Unraveling House: understand how to get a silk thread from the cocoon to weave silk fabric. Discover the handicrafts of Champ people and how to make traditional textiles as we visit the Vietnamese traditional silk weaving house. Finally, Visit Hoi An Silk Village exhibition: understand the difference between pure silk and fake silk fabric. The variety silk products here will provide for your shopping and tailoring demand.
