Experience the splendor of this ancient city through its surviving structures on this guided walking tour. Marvel at the ancient sarcophagi and the impressive ruins of the amphitheater - a real highlight of the tour. For the best experience, we recommend scheduling the tour in the cooler morning or evening hours during the summer. The terrain can be uneven at times. Therefore, please wear comfortable and sturdy shoes. Admission to the open-air museum costs about 8€ for adults.

Salona was a metropolis in Roman times with about 60,000 inhabitants until it was completely destroyed by the Avars, an equestrian people in the 6th century. We will explore Salona on foot. At the entrance I will give you some general information. The entrance fee to the open-air museum is about 10 euros for adults.
